Privacy Policy

1. Overview
LiveFramePin Studio is a macOS application provided by LiveFramePin. This policy explains what data is handled by the app, our website, licensing, checkout, and support.
2. Screen content and local files
Live Pins and Source Pins process the screen regions you choose locally on your Mac. LiveFramePin does not automatically upload or share that screen content.
Snapshot Pin images and annotations may be stored in the app's Application Support folder so Restore Pins can restore them. Preferences and saved pin layouts may be stored in macOS user defaults.
3. License activation
Licenses are provided through Lemon Squeezy. To activate, validate, or deactivate a license, the app sends the license key and the information needed for that request:
- activation: your license key and a Mac instance name;
- validation or deactivation: your license key and instance identifier.
The response may include order, product, license, and customer information held by Lemon Squeezy. The app stores the license key, instance identifier, optional purchase email, and validation timestamps in the macOS Keychain. Payment card data and Lemon Squeezy API secrets are not stored in the app. See the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
4. Optional voice input
If you choose voice input for text annotations, macOS requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. Audio is provided to Apple's Speech framework for transcription and may be sent to Apple's servers. LiveFramePin does not intentionally retain the audio; the resulting text may be saved as part of an annotation. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Purchases
Checkout, payment, tax, receipts, and order administration are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. LiveFramePin does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms and privacy policy apply to checkout.
6. Website and hosting
The website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, request details, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. LiveFramePin does not currently use its own advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. A language preference may be stored locally in your browser.
7. Support communications
If you contact support, we use the information you provide to respond, diagnose the issue, prevent abuse, and maintain service records. Do not send payment-card details, your full license key, or private screen content unless support specifically explains why it is necessary. Support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and legal obligations.
8. Your choices
You can remove local snapshots and app data by deleting them from your Mac, subject to macOS behavior. You can deny or revoke Screen Recording, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions in macOS System Settings, although affected features will stop working. For requests concerning support or account data controlled by LiveFramePin, contact us below. Data controlled by Lemon Squeezy, Apple, or Cloudflare is subject to each provider's process.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date above identifies the current version.
